The Crossroads Bible Church journey began in 1949 when a handful of faithful believers began a group Bible study
in a small storefront on Elkton's Main Street. One year later, Baptist Bible Chapel began to meet in a rented house on
the corner of Dogwood and Blue Ball Roads.

Renamed Crossroads Bible Church, the small ministry erected the first new building in 1953 on Singerly Road where
God continued to bless as the congregation grew. Elkton Christian Academy was founded in 1962 with just a kindergarten
class of 18 students. As enrollment increased, more grades were added paving the way for the first high school graduation
in 1972. In 1966, the current property was purchased on Appleton Road, and the new main auditorium was completed in 1968.
Through the years to follow, as God blessed His people Crossroads Bible Church undertook several building additions and
projects providing for growth in the church, Elkton Christian Academy, and the many ministries in progress.

Over the last several years, many changes have taken place at BBC. God is blessing the ministry with tremendous growth.
Precious souls are coming to know Christ as their Savior and lives are being rededicated to Him. The building project for
the new worship center complex is currently underway which will provide a state-of-the-art facility designed to meet the
growing needs of God's work.

As we continue on the journey we began over a half a century ago, we must never forget our purpose to worship and glorify God.
We must always remain faithful, and we must continually reach out to our community with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
